History and description

The BMO Field soccer-specific stadium was built to provide Toronto FC with a home and to serve as the flagship venue of the 2007 U-20 FIFA World Cup. The BMO Field official opened on April 28th with a league match between Toronto FC and the Kansas City Wizards.

In 2014, the stadium underwent a large redevelopment that included the construction of an extra tier over the East Stand, additional hospitality facilities, and the erection of a roof over the entire stadium. This increased seating capacity to 30,000 seats. The expansion came at a cost of CAD 120 million.

How to get to BMO Field

The BMO Field is located on the waterfront of Lake Ontario, about three kilometers west of downtown Toronto. It is close to the CN Tower and Toronto Union Station. The stadium is located on the grounds of Toronto Exhibition Place, which is bounded by the Gardiner Expressway to the north.

Overall, I think that BMO Field is a good place to watch a match. The atmosphere is enthusiastic and there are always plenty of fans around to support the team. However, there are some areas where the club could do better.

Overall, BMO Field is a good place to watch a match. The atmosphere is enthusiastic and the fans are friendly. I have never had any problems bringing my son to games. However, the club needs some work?
