Many people can relate to Bravo TV because its reality shows are the barest form of our feelings without any fabrication. That's why Bravo TV is so popular - it makes us want to stream online.
Thank you for your compliment. Bravo TV is one of my favorite channels because its content is engaging and compels me to tune in every week. Its narratives are compelling and make me want to watch more than one episode per week.
Bravo TV - Capturing People?s Imagination
I absolutely love the ?The Real Housewives? series. I remember people asking me how they can watch it online? I get the hype and their desire to watch the show as its success has led Bravo to produce more than nine iterations of this hit show with a tenth one set to air in 2020.
After watching the first few episodes of Dirty John, I realized that there was a lot of buzz around the show. This is evident by the numerous queries that are shown on my dashboard. All of these queries and engagement demonstrate how popular the show is, and a large part of this popularity can be attributed to its relatable and gossip culture.
History
Bravo was founded on December 1, 1980. This American pay television network has come a long way since its inception, focusing on fine arts and creative films at first. However, over time Bravo transitioned into a Reality TV phenomenon, with several popular shows such as "Real Housewives of New York City" and "The Real World". Bravo is now owned by NBC Universal, and continues to produce high-quality Reality TV programming.
Bravo has been able to transition from pure lifestyle and movie content to reality television with shows such as Southern Charm, Shahs of Sunset, Top Chef, and Real Housewives.
Design
However, when you click on a show, the video loads slowly. Additionally, the menu bar at the top of the screen only has three options: Watch Now, Browse Episodes, and My Feed.
Though I don't mind the color combination, I am not a fan of Bravo TV's website or mobile app design. The white and dark blue color combination flows well throughout the website, but the layout looks as if it was a news site rather than a streaming network. On the category tab, you'll find shows, episodes, and videos as well as news on the left and apps on the right. However, when you click on a show to watch it live or browse through its episodes, the video load slowly. Additionally, there are only three menu bar options: Watch Now (which is just an orange triangle with an arrow), Browse Episodes (which looks like a list of thumbnails), and My Feed (a subsection of which is dedicated to notifications).
When you click any of the options on the homepage or app, you'll experience an abrupt change in how things look. For example, if you click on Shows > Basically Stassi, a random banner with blue and pink gradient appears which has nothing to do with what you saw on the homepage. Thus, there's no clear visual theme throughout the website or app.
So, as you scroll down to see what?s new, you accidentally click on one of these widgets and then have to scroll all the way back up again.
Most of the shows on the website don't even have a dedicated banner, so when you click on them you see a cluttered mosaic video arrangement which doesn't make you feel good. There's just too much happening on every page. On each inside page, there are "Most Popular" or "Latest News" widgets placed at a random position. So, as you scroll down to see what's new, you accidentally click on one of these widgets and then have to scroll all the way back up again.
There's not much to like about the website. The lack of hashtags and interesting content makes it difficult for users to engage with each other. Additionally, the TV Guide and Schedule don't have a lot of appeal, since there's not much content to see.
If you thought that was enough, wait until you watch their blog section. Overall, it just looks as if NBC doesn't care about the visual appeal and is instead driven by placing content that can help them generate revenue.

Despite the design and layout of Bravo TV being a mess, I have to say that the content is what makes this network great. It keeps you glued and I wouldn't mind paying $4-5/month for this network alone purely for its content. Bravo has been the most viewed cable TV channel among female viewers for 2017 and 2019. Bravo TV has generated 109 million live streams which come at an estimated +109% YOY growth. However, Bravo TV is available through Set-top-box VOD, TV Everywhere, as well as its own streaming service, Bravo TV - which is making all of the noise.
According to a 2018 study, Dirty John was one of the top five ad-supported cable scripted series with an average viewership of 2.4 million. However, Dirty John is not the only thing working wonders for the network; new crop of originals such as Southern Charm, Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules, and Below Deck Mediterranean are all delivering great numbers. For instance, Below Deck is on par with Dirty John to deliver the best season ever between the age group of 18-49 with an average viewership of 2.3 million.
For fans of Bravo TV's reality-based series, here is a list of all the current shows that are airing. Titles include "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," "Below Deck," "Married to Medicine," "Project Runway," "Spy Games," "Summer House," and "The Andy Cohen Show."

Desktop/Mobile experience
The website for Bravo TV is much better than the website for Investigation Discovery. The previews for Bravo TV load quickly and there are no ads in them. However, the app for Investigation Discovery is worse than the website. The previews for Investigation Discovery take forever to load and there are 1-minute ads in them.
Despite Bravo Now app being available on the App Store, many users report it to be one of the worst streaming apps. They advise that you do not base your decision on what Bravo says about the app, but rather what real users have to say.
Mobile App experience is horrendous
The App Store is asking customers to upgrade their cable service or buy full episodes of shows on iTunes in order to have uninterrupted, high-quality previews. Until these upgrades are made, customers are only able to view previews that are filled with ads. If you were thinking linking your cable provider was easy, think again. Regardless of how good the previews on the App Store are described, it's not worth spending money on them.
Compatibility is the only positive
I like that the digital endeavors of this company are compatible with a wide range of services. It supports DirecTV, Xfinity, AT&T, YouTube TV, and Verizon. In addition, by signing up for an NBC Universal profile within the app, you can sync your favorite shows and track the progress. So that's a positive.

YouTube TV offers a great streaming experience with support for Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, Apple TV, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices. Plus, with the added benefit of not having to pay for cable or satellite TV, it's an affordable way to get all your entertainment needs covered.
AT&T Now offers a variety of services, including $50 to $135 per month for a Roku, Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, or Fire TV. This service also supports iOS and Android devices.
If you are still confused about how to stream Bravo TV on these channels, here is the clarification. With the aforementioned services, you get local channels such as NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC and the CW. And Bravo TV being a part of the NBC network can be streamed easily through these packages.
Purchase Shows Online
If you don't want to commit to any network, you can simply go and purchase online shows from iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, or Vudu. For instance, if you just want to watch Dirty John, you can buy a whole season for around $25-30. This is a great option if you aren't a frequent television viewer and don't intend to subscribe to a particular streaming service.
Suggestions I have for Bravo TV
Bravo TV's digital presence is truly amazing. If the developers could match its quality content with its digital presence, this app would work wonders. I would love to see NBC roll out an individual platform for Bravo TV where users can subscribe to this individual network rather than buying Cable, Satellite or Streaming networks.
Conclusion
Bravo TV is a great source of content with a need for digital reinvention. If you love reality TV, you'll definitely get hooked to its originals. Currently, Bravo TV can be streamed for free if you have the membership.
