FC Cadiz

Cádiz Club de Fútbol, short FC Cádiz, is a Spanish football club from the region of Andalusia. The Yellow-Blues were founded in 1910 by José Rivera y Lora and after one season in the Primera Division were relegated to the Segunda Division where they tried for 9 years. Every year, FC Cádiz organizes the Trofeo Ramón de Carranza tournament, which was first held in 1955. The trophy and stadium are named after a former mayor of the city of Cádiz, who held that post from 1935 until his death on September 11, 1941, during the civil war fighting for Republican Spain against the Nationalist Fascist troops led by General Francisco Franco. according to Wikipedia. To this day, it remains one of many events that brings together teams from the Primera División (Spain's top division) and the Segunda División - or just "the Divisions" - and its history stretches back over seventy years! The fans are there too.

The festival ends with a grand folk music and dance extravaganza, centered on a nightly barbecue at Playa Victoria. This event is hosted by FC Cadiz, which has won this tournament seven times (1981, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1993, 1994, 2006).
