Bonnie Fuller is a well-known media figure in the United States. She has worked in various roles in the entertainment industry and has been particularly successful in digital media. Her name is known to anyone who works in the field of journalism, film, or television.
Bonnie Fuller was born on July 29th, 1966 in Toronto, Canada from a middle-class family. Her father was a real estate lawyer and her mother an elementary school teacher. Fuller graduated from Jarvis Collegiate Institute in 1974 and then went on to attend the University of Toronto, where she achieved her B.A. in 1977.

After graduating from university with a B.A., Fuller quickly landed a job as a fashion reporter at the Toronto Star. She was only there for one year, but it was sufficient time to make a huge impact in the world of entertainment and style reporting. She became the editor of the sportswear section of Women's Daily two years later, and only stayed there for three years before landing her first editor-in-chief position, at Flare magazine. By 1983, Fuller had become quite successful and was considered one of the most influential women in fashion journalism.
After Flare, Fuller went over to YM magazine, which she had also previously been an editor-in-chief of. This is when her career really started to ignite. From there, she created an American version of the popular British publication, Marie Claire magazine. Then, in 1996, Fuller became editor-in-chief at the infamous Cosmopolitan magazine. From 1998 to 2001, she was an editor at Glamour magazine - eventually becoming editor-in-chief at Us Weekly, where she conceived of her signature columns: ?Stars are Just Like Us?, ?The Buzzometer? and ?Who Wore it Best?? The latter column has been emulated by nearly every entertainment publication since then, whenever there is a red-carpet event.
In 2003, Fuller was appointed the executive vice president and chief editorial director of American Media Inc. In this role, she oversaw 16 weekly, biweekly, and monthly periodicals. Fuller is an ambitious woman, and it is safe to say that she has achieved a great deal in her career.
She has an impressive resume and track record of putting out quality content. Throughout her career, she wanted more and more, to climb higher and higher in her field. And this resulted in her being asked by a very powerful media magnate to run her very own online publication.
In July of 2009, Jay Penske approached Fuller to invite her to relaunch Hollywood Life, a then defunct Hollywood news site. Fuller happily agreed and is, to this day, the site's president, editor and chief, and a senior advisor at Penske Media Corporation. In addition to her duties as editor and president of the online publication, she also hosts the HollywoodLife podcast available on iTunes.
Bonnie Fuller is still a journalist and she is still very active in the entertainment news industry. She often contributes to various media outlets, such as Huffington Post, Advertising Age, the Today Show, Good Morning America, Good Day New York, Access Hollywood, Nancy Grace, Fox Digital News, CTV News, CNN New Day, Nancy Grace, Inside Edition, and WPIX. She also appears on Sirius XM Radio?s Cosmo Radio on Tuesdays. Bonnie Fuller is a busy woman and she does a lot of work in the entertainment news industry.

I think Hollywood Life looks like a celebrity-focused entertainment news magazine online. I don't want to be misleading - Hollywood Life is not a tabloid. Far from it. It doesn't deal in blatant falsehoods printed as truth. It does, however, verge on the speculative a bit, the gossipy. And, therefore, the splashy, flashy, hot pink/white / black theme of the site feels appropriate.
And unlike many other news sites, there are no hard and fast rules about what you cannot write about - celebrities, for example, are a regular focus of the site. The Hollywood Life layout is concise and easy to read with images of famous people below short headlines. The site is geared towards millennials who may have ADHD and are not constricted by traditional rules of journalism. Articles tend to be brief but feature celebrity news frequently.
and focus more on its message. I do not like the site's design because it is cluttered and chaotic. The eye has no idea where to land. There is too much jam-packed color and vibrancy all over the place. I would like the site to simmer down a bit and focus more on its message.

While there is definitely a range of content available on Hollywood Life, most of it falls into the category of gossip or Celebrity news. This website is generally frequented by people who are interested in information about the private lives of celebrities, rather than more substantive topics. As such, most of the content on Hollywood Life is geared toward trivial celebrity news and speculation.

Mobile and Desktop Experience

This app has quickly become my go-to source for entertainment news, so I encourage you to give it a try as well. After giving a detailed analysis of why I dislike the in-browser site experience, I am happy to report that there is an alternative to be found in the Hollywood Life mobile app. Although it is equally flashy, it is at least slightly less chaotic, more soundly organized and easier to navigate. Everything, every article, is clearly delineated into its own separate section, not too much text is bleeding into the images. This app has quickly become my go-to source for entertainment news, so I encourage you to give it a try as well.
It seems as though app users prefer the app format over an in-browser site on Hollywood Life. The app is perfect for the site and has received an average rating of 4.7 stars on the Apple App Store.

Pricing and Plans

Hollywood Life does not traffic in the subscription service game whatsoever. So, if you love Hollywood Life, there is no need to worry; you can enjoy it whenever you want without ever having to pay a dime. Sure, there will be ads, but hey, nothing is ever truly free, right?

Suggestions that I have for Hollywood Life

Although I appreciate Hollywood Life's hard work in covering entertainment news, I believe they could do a better job of making their site more user-friendly. It is too chaotic and difficult to navigate. I think it would be best if Hollywood Life simplified their layout, as this would make it more manageable and less distracting.
Although it is convenient that you don't have to register as a user to use Hollywood Life, maybe it wouldn't hurt to offer some sort of upgrade option. Say, exclusive content, ad-free reading, anything at all. I have a feeling that people who really love Hollywood Life would probably be willing to shell out a few bucks a month in order to get some kind of exclusive, VIP, ?red-carpet? treatment

I think Hollywood Life may be just the online publication you've been waiting for, as long as celebrity gossip and speculation is your wheelhouse. They have tons of articles, many of which are quick reads - this site is perfect for the celebrity news junkie who, like Bonnie Fuller herself, is always on the go. I am not a huge fan of the flashy and chaotic site design, but maybe that's just me - after all, the taste is purely subjective. I have a feeling that a lot of people will really love this site, even if it wasn't necessarily my cup of tea.
And if you're looking for even more insider information on the celebs and their goings-on, be sure to check out the Hollywood Life podcast, hosted by Bonnie Fuller.
