History and description

Along with the addition of a new stands, the stadium was able to accommodate an increased number of fans. Kashiwa Hitachi Stadium was built in 1985, but its modest design meant that it could only fit a small number of fans. In 1995, however, following the promotion of Kashiwa Reysol to J-League, the stadium got significantly expanded and was able to accommodate an increased number of fans. The stadium underwent a last minor renovation in 2009 which also slightly increased its current total capacity.

How to get to Kashiwa Hitachi Stadium

Kashiwa Hitachi Stadium is located in the south of the city of Kashiwa. It is about 1.5 kilometres from central Kashiwa and Kashiwa Station. The walk from Kashiwa Station takes about 15 minutes, or you can take the Nadogaya-Yuki Tobu Bus from stop 1 at the station. Get off at Kashiwa Hitachi Stadium and there are extra buses on the day of the match.

Kashiwa is in the north-east of the greater Tokyo metropolitan area, near central Tokyo.

Kashiwa can be accessed by trains on the JR J?ban Line and by metro lines G and H. Ueno Station can be reached by subway lines G and H which run through central Tokyo.

Kashiwa Reysol Tickets

Tickets for Kashiwa Reysol games can be bought online, at Lawson convenience stores, or in person. Tickets in the range of Y$2,800 to Y$5,500 can be purchased for seats behind the goal or in the main stand.
