Leeds United (officially: Leeds United Association Football Club) is a professional football club from the northern English city of Leeds, which is located in West Yorkshire. Their biggest domestic achievements were winning the First Division Championship three times and the FA Cup once, when they beat Arsenal 1-0 at London's Wembley Stadium in front of 100,000 spectators! Leeds have already won two famous trophies in European football. They won their first and only FA Cup in 1901 at Headingley 2-1 against Everton Fyfield and qualified for European Champions League competition after winning both domestic leagues in the 1968/1969 season. Contrary to this impressive performance, however, Leeds did not progress even further than a round, losing 1-0 to AC Milan in 1973, losing another final where scoring was absolutely crucial!

Yorkshire's most powerful club, Leeds United, reached the 1975 European Cup final.
