Real Club Deportivo Mallorca is a historic Spanish football club from Palma de Mallorca, founded in 1916. The team plays in the Segunda División, the second highest Spanish league for football clubs."

The Iberostar Estadi is Mallorca's home stadium and has a capacity of more than 23,000 spectators. The club used to play in the old stadium used by the B team until 2007, but now they have a brand new, luxurious stadium thanks in part to renovations that have been going on since 1999, when football got back came into vogue, and dating back long enough that fans can still remember watching games there as kids!

In 2003, RCD won the Spanish Copa Del Rey Cup by beating Recreatio Huelva 3-0. The biggest international success was reaching the only final of the European Champions League, where they lost 2-1 to Lazio Roma in 1999 after goals from Christian Vieri and Pavel Nedved.
