I wasn't sure what to expect when I first visited this site, but it quickly exceeded my expectations with each click. Is 4 Movie Rulz the best free movie streaming site for you? Design
I must say that, overall, I am not impressed with the site design of free movie streaming sites. In fact, I would venture to say that they have a pretty bad rap when it comes to user experience. Sure, there are a few notable exceptions, such as Sling and Viki ? but, by and large, I have come to terms with the fact that a free movie streaming site is probably not going to wow me with its design.
Despite the fact that the site's design is amateurish, it still attracts a lot of traffic. Unfortunately, this Traffic isn't coming from well-informed or sophisticated movie buffs. It comes mainly from people who are just looking for a good laugh and don't care about finding quality information.
Unfortunately, this site falls short of those lofty standards.
There is nothing special or outstanding about this site other than the fact that it is plainly simple and uninteresting. Although it is rare, I have seen free movie streaming sites that have managed to impress me with dynamic, immersive, and experiential site design. These sites will have responsive side-scrolling libraries, windows containing additional information that will smoothly materialize when you hover your cursor over a thumbnail, extensive systems of organization and filtering for easy and intuitive browsing. Unfortunately, this site falls short of those lofty standards.
Movie Rulz doesn't offer much more than your typical gallery arrangement of movie thumbnails. These titles are split into 2 main sections: Featured Movies and Latest Movies. The only other way to browse free movie streams is by scrolling up to the top of the page and accessing the site menu bar.
At least this part of the website is somewhat helpful. Here, you can access various corners of the website that may actually aid you in finding the kind of movies that you are looking for. Jump to any section of the site by choosing one of the following options: Home, Featured, Hollywood, Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Other (featuring additional languages and adult films), and genres. Clicking on Genres provides a halfway decent means of browsing, allowing you to filter the available movies by, well, genre or year of release (but not both simultaneously).
Overall, I would love to see 4 Movie Rulz undergo a serious makeover. This site has potential, but it needs improvement in order to be truly great. It would be nice to see this potential unlocked in future iterations of this free movie streaming site. That being said, as it stands today, I cannot in good conscience say that 4 Movie Rulz is designed well. It is not the worst site I have ever seen, sure, but it is far from the best free movie site from a design standpoint.
Content and Features
So, you have probably gathered by now that 4 Movie Rulz offers a lot of free movie streaming options. In fact, what this site lacks in design, it makes up for in diversity and quantity of movies. There is something for everyone here, whether you like action movies, romances, thrillers, sci-fi, or anything in between. 4 Movie Rulz has plenty of options to keep you entertained for hours.
One of the great benefits of this free movie streaming site is that it caters to a wide range of languages. India is a very diverse nation, and it's great to see that 4 Movie Rulz reflects this. Although many free movie streaming sites focus on just a few languages, 4 Movie Rulz casts a very broad net. Whether you speak Telugu, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, or Bengali, you can stream free movies with no language barrier here.
4 Movie Rulz offers music, in addition to free movie streaming, which makes it a unique site compared to most. By providing music as well as movies, 4 Movie Rulz keeps its users entertained while they browse for new films to watch.
There is one big problem with 4 Movie Rulz. They do not provide any embedded movie streams on the site itself. Instead, you will be provided with a list of links to host sites. Most movies on 4 Movie Rulz also come with torrent magnet links, so you can download the movies if you prefer.
The reason I don't like this is that when I visit a free movie streaming site, I expect to be able to stream free movies from that site. I don't want to be forced to click blindly into 3rd party sites that I know nothing about. Especially when there is no guarantee that these other sites are safe, even if I have estimated 4 movie Rulz to be safe and legit.
I do not download any kind of files onto my computer from any site until that site has earned my trust. Maybe (maybe) I would consider downloading torrents from 4 Movie Rulz eventually if they upheld their end of the bargain as a free movie streaming site; that is to say, if they actually let me stream free movies on their site.
Without the essential free movie streaming site feature, I am left with no other choice but to warn my readers: proceed into these 3rd party streaming sites at your own risk (I did not opt to click these links, personally).
Mobile and Desktop Experience
Wow, it's been a while since I've seen a free movie streaming site with so many ups and downs. It's really rare for a site like this to offer both an in-browser site and a mobile app. However, 4 Movie Rulz does just that - it has an in-browser site that is easy to use from any mobile device and you can also download the 4 Movie Rulz mobile app directly from the site.
Unfortunately, the app is not available on Google Play and there are instructions that will guide you through the download and installation process. Android users, though, are welcome to download the app, either through a direct download link or a torrent magnet link. Manual installation of the app onto Android phones is required.
I cannot speak to whether the app is good. I do not have an Android device; and even if I did, based on the rest of the website, I am not entirely convinced that I would be willing to go through the trouble. Especially if the app is more of what I already have: links to 3rd party sites instead of embedded free movies that I can stream. At any rate, if you do come to love 4 Movie Rulz, then the fact that a mobile app exists at all will be great news, as this is an extremely rare feature of a free movie streaming site like this one.

Please embed your free movies onto your site directly. Doing this will help protect your site's credibility, as there are some truly terrible streaming sites out there. If you try to send me to another site, in my eyes, you lose all credibility. 4 Movie Rulz recommends that you allow your users to stream movies without clicking blindly into additional links.
