The movie adaptation nowadays is able to generate more than one hundred million dollars in revenue. As a fan, you love what the studios come up with, and appreciate or criticize based upon whether you liked the content or not. Most of the time, such movies resonate with people because they have grown up reading comics about the same.
After 1978, 46 superhero films have managed to gross more than 100 million dollars. This is not mere luck or coincidence - it is the result of a unique screenplay that draws its roots from the comics.
As an audience, we craves these movies, and that's why they're so popular. Today, DC and Marvel are known for their box office collections; either studio is more than capable of drawing more than $500 million in box office revenue per release. Today, we're going to leave Marvel out of the picture and focus on DC. Why? Because we belong to a popular community on Reddit called r/DC_Cinematic. But before we do so, let me give you an overview of DC Comics.
DC Comics is a comic book publisher founded in 1938 by American writer Jerry Siegel and Canadian-American artist Joe Shuster. The company became known for its iconic characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Arrow and The Flash.
DC Comics and Cinema Overview
As an entertainment company, DC Comics has a rich history and has been a staple in American pop culture for over seventy years. It owns some of the most popular and well-loved characters of all time, which has led to a large audience of fans. From the very first Superman story in 1938, DC demonstrated its commitment to quality by introducing Batman (1939) and Wonder Woman (1941).
In 1969, Warner Brothers acquired DC Comics. To date, that has not changed. Recently, DC has lost its place as the 21st-century cinematic universe powerhouse to Marvel, which has been able to generate more than $11 billion in less than two decades. With their recent release of "Joker," DC is finding its feet yet again and is looking towards making a staggering comeback.
My recent experience on r/DC_Cinematic
The recent experience I had on r/DC_Cinematic was underwhelming because the user posted about how DC made a huge mistake by firing Junkie XL so late in post-production and scrapped the already completed score. Although I love Elfman, there is no denying that he would have to rush through his work if he were based off of the storyboards. So yes, I kind of agree with the OP.

Given that itâs a super-niche page and it just talks about DC content, I donât think the number of users is less.
If you're a fan of DC Comics, movies, and other cinematic elements, this is an amazing platform to share your opinion and gauge the opinions of fellow members.

Moderators of r/DC_Cinematic
Many people on Reddit think 192,000 is a not a huge number, but it's a big number when you consider that it's just the DC circle. These members are active cinema-goers and comic book readers. They're not your average audience, which just wants to be a part of a thread. The discussion you'd get into in this subreddit would be very important.

Community Engagement
The unofficial subreddit for dc cinematic is a decent community that draws interaction every day. However, because the community has less than 200,000 members, there are only 500-700 members active at any given time. Additionally, since these members are active, they are likely to respond once you update a post. In any given time, you will have 3-5 people engaging with your post if it is good enough.
