History and description

It is best known for its basketball and handball courts. Kasimpasa Stadyumu, which means "Stadium of Kasimpasa" in Turkish, was built in 2005 on the site of a local athletics ground. How to get to Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium

The Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium is located in the Beyoglu area of central Istanbul, just north of the Galata tower and only a few blocks downhill off the main Istligal pedestrian street. Taksim Square is located about a 15-minute walk away from the Sultanahmet area and the walk from there takes about half an hour.

It is a good option for visitors who want to explore Istanbul without having to worry about their transportation.

Kasimpasa Tickets

Tickets for Kasimpasa games can be bought online through the PASSO portal. If you are a foreigner living in Turkey, you will need to have a Passolig card in order to purchase tickets and enter the stadium. You can apply for a card on the Passolig website.

You will pay TLR 10.00 for an uncovered seat, TLR 20.00 for a covered seat behind the goal, or TLR 40.00 for a covered seat at the main stand.
