Years later, Streema is one of the most user-friendly radio streaming apps which allows you to listen to favorite radio stations from across the world.

Even if you were to use an outdated Blackberry phone, you'd still have a responsive website.
Design
Streema may not be the most intuitive website when it comes to design, but it feels like a high-quality site. Their clean interface on the homepage gets you started well. As soon as I entered the website, the header section caught my eye. Additionally, there are many effective options on Streema that can help you stream your content in a way that is best for you.
Header
The five key options - Radio, TV, Sign in with Facebook, Create an Account and Sign in on the right - are all prominently featured on the homepage.
Hero Section
The site also features a blog section where the author shares their thoughts and opinions on various radio stations.
If I were to describe Streema's hero section in one word, that would be CLEAN. With an illustration in the background and the blue layer on the top, the hero section looks super clean and attractive. A main headline ?Welcome to the World of Online Radio? is complemented with the main search bar which allows you to search radio stations or tv channels through name, genre, city or country. The site also features a blog section where the author shares their thoughts and opinions on various radio stations.
Body
All of this is neatly stacked atop a white background.
The homepage for Streema features body design that picks up where the hero section left off. There are four cards highlighting four major radio networks- Radio Caraibes, Metro 95.1, Radio Tele Zenith and Aspen 102.3. Each of these stations has their fan base mentioned on a light blue backdrop. Another crucial information is the location listed just under the station number in grey. All of this is neatly stacked atop a white background.
As you scroll down the cards, four will be displayed. The first card, Music, has 5000+ talk stations and 13500+ news stations. The second card, Talk, has 13500+ stations for talking on the phone or listening to the news. The third card, News, has 12000+ stations with a variety of topics that you can explore. And the fourth card, Sports, has 4000+ radios that are dedicated to sports. Once you click on any of these cards you will be taken to dedicated pages within each category with information about which regions it is available in as well as what types of content are featured in each one.
Inner pages
The ratings are a laughable attempt at safeguarding against fake listeners.
Based on my experience, the inner page on this website is not nearly as impressive as the homepage. It is just a bland page with listings and no creativity. There are ads right under the header, above the radio station - though it doesn't interrupt the streaming, it does rub you the wrong way sometimes. The entire layout is unappealing with sorting options on the left ad horizontal channels on the right. On the horizontal menu, you will find categories, locations, listeners and ratings. The ratings are a laughable attempt at safeguarding against fake listeners.
Content
There is no shortage of content on Streema. Whether you want to stream live television or radio stations, Streema has you covered. It offers you access to AM, FM, online radio stations from your desktop and even your mobile phone.
There are now over 50,000+ radio stations to choose from, compared to just over 20,000 a few years ago. You can listen to anything you want- from the latest hit songs to genre-based music, live sports commentaries, breaking news and talk shows. So there's something for everyone.
Sports Coverage
I like streaming music and podcasts through this service, but I really enjoy the sports content on this network. I've streamed NBA, EPL, NASCAR, football, and even MLB on various radio stations using Streema. Some of my favorite radio stations include ESPN, NPR, KEXP, WBLS, La Mega, W Radio, Moody Radio, Radio 24, Radio Love, WBUR, Radio Caraibes, Radio Javan and WCBS.

Unlike television networks which usually offer a diverse range of genres, radio stations specialize in a certain genre.
Desktop/Mobile experience
I absolutely loved streaming on the Streema website and the app experience was quite exceptional. I used my Pixel 3a, to stream sports commentary and the audio was quite clear. There were no discrepancies or audio breakage. The stream was steady and showed no signs of dropping even when I stepped into areas where I often have streaming issues. This goes to show the strength of this streaming network. Simply exceptional.
Plans & Pricing
Streema is available to use without subscription fees. However, there are in-app purchases that you can make which range between $1-$3. With that said, Streema isn't ad-free and thus you will need to tolerate ads on this network.
Suggestions I have for Streema
Though I appreciate Streema's efforts, I want the developers to know that there have been times when the ads have been really annoying. Especially those coming from the big players such as Audible and Facebook. It appears as if they are trying to push their product down your throat. For instance, when I reject an ad, it just continues to pop up until I cancel it twice or thrice. This badgering experience sometimes makes me want to uninstall the app. This gives you a fair idea about my sentiment towards the user-experience balance.
Conclusion
Streema is one of the most technologically advanced directories, providing users with cutting edge features and an extensive live radio library. Streema seems to be leading the pack with its innovative technological features such as concurrent listener maps and apps that work even on Apple watches.
