For an anime to have a website devoted to it, it needs to be exceptional in comparison to the mainstream market. Over the years, we?ve been presented with dozens of amazing animes that have raised the bar in terms of content quality. What makes an anime stand out is its ability to maintain its own unique identity from all of the other offerings out there. One particular anime that has managed this well over the past two decades is ?One Piece?.
One Piece is a standout anime
There are too many anime shows out there and it's hard to remember the characters. Thankfully, that's not the case with One Piece. It is immune to character repetition. Each character you watch on the show stays with you. Each main character is well-defined and you are well aware of their strengths and weaknesses.
Many people believe that One Piece's arcs can be slow, but shounen fans generally prefer slower pacing over undeveloped characters. The revelations, plot twists and great location settings keep you engaged in the anime. One Piece emphasizes the importance of friendship, families and the whole crew, which keeps you hooked all the way through.
With over 900+ episodes under its belt, OnePiece or OP's dedicated anime streaming website WatchOP is a great way to stream all the content in one place. You can access the episodes from the homepage and browse by episode or season.
What is WatchOP?
WatchOP is a streaming platform that allows for the viewing of all One Piece episodes on one platform. You can watch English dubbed shows as well as choose to watch them with subtitles. I would always recommend choosing the subtitles option, as the dubbed shows lack the original essence poured in by creator. Additionally, the meanings of dialogues are tweaked to fit a particular audience, but we can all be thankful for both options available.
Why should you watch OnePiece?
If you have not started watching One Piece yet, I would highly recommend that you do so. The plot, even though being verysimple, has fascinating storytelling as the anime progresses. The story arcs, twists, suspense and adventures of different characters including Monkey D. Luffy make it a great watch.
Why should you stream on WatchOP?
One Piece WatchOP is a devoted platform which makes it really stand out. However, features like the variety of amazing content and the dedication to making sure it is always up makes this a compelling choice for streaming.
Dedicated One Piece website
The One Piece network has all of the 925 episodes of the show available on their homepage. You don't have to search very deep, as all of the episodes are available right on the homepage. The most recent episode is at the top, so keep scrolling to find them all.
Complete episodes
WatchOP doesn't link you to premium streaming services, and the content on the website itself is streamed in a seamless fashion. There's an in-built video player thatallows you to stream on WatchOP without any hassle.
Live Ticker
If you're watching all the episodes of One Piece that have been aired so far, you can use the Live Ticker to keep track of when the next episode will be uploaded. The live ticker will tell you exactly when the episode will be uploaded, which happens one hour after it airs on Japanese TV.
Dubbed Episodes
If you have difficulty understanding the subtitles or cannot follow up with the English or Spanish subtitles, you can watch the dubbed episodes instead. One Piece is an extremely popular anime, so it is likely to be found in your preferred language. If you can understand subtitles, I would recommend watching the subbed version over the dubbed one.
Quality Streaming
Additionally, the app provides a live news feed which update in real time. So you always know what?s going on. Finally, WatchOP is also one of the few services that allows you to download videos for offline viewing.
If WatchOP did not have a strong content prowess and quality streaming, everything would be wasted. However, this is not the case as WatchOP provides an amazing streaming experience. You can manually choose the resolution based upon your internet speed which allows you to watch One Piece in slightly lower resolution without buffering or shutting you out. Additionally, the app provides a live news feed which updates in real time so you always know what's going on. Finally, WatchOP is also one of the few services that allows you to download videos for offline viewing.
How to access WatchOP?
To access the WatchOP platform, either search for ?WatchOP? in your search engine and find the website on the first page of your results, or use the following link: WatchOP.
Before you access the website, be sure to use a VPN. A VPN will help protect your identity from hackers and your device from malware.
Design
I didn't expect much from the design approach for a dedicated single show such as One Piece. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how good some sections of the website are and how poor others are. Let's check out different sections on the website.
Header
The sidebar also contains quick links to the other sections, as well as an option to sign up for email notifications.
The header section of WatchOP has five main options - Home, One Piece English Dubbed, One Piece Manga, Soundtracks, and Anime Dubbed. I'm not a big fan of the all caps text approach. However, I don't mind the blue background as it helps the text to stand out. Under the primary header you'll find a supporting section that features random episodes and lists. The sidebar also contains quick links to the other sections, as well as an option to sign up for email notifications.
Hero Section
Finally, you have the option of viewing the episode summary or the photo gallery.
The plain hero section of this website is improved by a countdown clock and a highlighting of the latest episode in yellow. The primary section includes a list of all episodes and an option to view the photo gallery.
Body
As it stands now, the website feels overwhelming for someone just starting out.
This section is the biggest strength and the biggest weakness of this website at the same time. It depends on how you see it. For people who know about the episodes and what they want to watch, it is helpful. For people who are new and have landed on the homepage for the first time, they will be scared of seeing the long scrolling required on the homepage. It is tiring and too much. It would be better if the developers would create different pages with each one carrying no more than 30 episodes. As it stands now, the website feels overwhelming for someone just starting out.
Footer
I'm kind of upset that the developers didn't add navigation options in the footer section, but now when I think about it, even he/she must have gotten tired seeing the tumultuous homepage.
Inner Pages
Clicking on the heading led me to further inner pages where I found subtitles for specific movies.
The header section on the inner pages is the same as seen on the homepage. I clicked on English Subbed categories and landed on an inner page. The page started with a headline, "Watch One Piece Movies English Subbed?" This text was supported by a short summary, "You can watch and download One Piece movies without registration?" Clicking on the heading led me to further inner pages, where I found subtitles for specific movies.
Content
If you're a fan of One Piece, you'll want to check out this website. All of the episodes of the series are available here in both subbed and dubbed versions. From Episode 1 - "I'm Luffy! The Man Who's Gonna Be King of the Pirates!" to Episode 924 - "The Capital in an Uproar! Another Assassin Targets Sanji!", you can watch it all.
Desktop/Mobile experience
I streamed WatchOP on my iPhone 11 Pro and my HP 15 Notebook. The streaming quality was excellent and there was no lag. I enjoyed the streaming experience and had high expectations from the website. I would definitely recommend WatchOP to anyone who is looking for a good streaming experience.
Suggestions I have for WatchOP
The website has room for graphical improvements, but other than that, please shorten the length of the homepage and divide the episodes pagewise.
Conclusion
If you're a fan of One Piece, you really need to check out this website. On the contrary, if you're just getting started with One Piece, WatchOP will allow you to not just stream but even download the episodes in high definition.
